The air filter in your vehicle keeps contaminants like dirt and dust from getting into the engine’s moving parts, helping your vehicle to burn fuel efficiently and keeping the engine working at its best. If the air filter is clogged, it can no longer do its job effectively, and your vehicle will use more fuel to make up for the lack of air flow through the dirty filter, as well as decrease engine power.
Our EconoLube technician removes and inspects the engine air filter. If it needs to be replaced, and with your approval, we install a new, clean engine air filter to capture dirt and debris.
